Warm up: * Chatting: What present did you give Mai? -> A pink clock. - Setting up the activity. - Asking students to the front of the class to practice. - Checking. - Correcting. - Carrying out the activity. - Listening to the teacher. - Practising in group. - checking. - Correcting. 14’ II. Pre-Listening: * Run through the pictures part 3 P.21. * Prediction: - Hanging 9 pictures on the board. - Asking students to describe the pictures by asking some questions: - Asking Ss to odserve the pictures and guess the right pictures. - Asking students to present their guessing on the board in groups. - Looking at the pictures. - Describing the pictures and answering the questions. - Observing the pictures and guessing the right pictures. - Presenting their guessing in groups. 8’ III. While - Listening: * Listen and tick: Key: 1. 2. 3. - Asking each student take a piece of paper. - Asking students to work individually. - Playing the tape twice, pause thirty seconds between two times. - Asking Ss if they want to listen the third time. - Asking Ss to share the answer with their friends. - Dividing class into two groups. - Asking each group to present the answer. - Playing the tape again and asking Ss to check. - Correcting. - Taking a piece of paper. - Working individually. - Listening to the tape and check. - Answering the question. - Sharing the answers with friends. - Joining into two groups. - Presenting the answer. - Checking - Taking part in correcting. 8’ IV.
